CEEPS 2005 Workshops
For the third year in a row, the biggest star of the CEEPS conference was
our unique
Virtual Space format. We tried something a
little different this year, and it worked really well: We have
always asked registrants to share their expectations and desired outcomes
when they sign up. This year, we started to circulate those learning
needs to other participants ahead of time. Guess what happened?
Before they even left home, some practitioners saw needs that they could respond to and arrived
equipped to offer sessions directly tailored to the desired outcomes of
those individuals. The more specific the expectations - the better
the fit. You can bet that we are going to ramp up this strategy for
2006!
We had more session time slots this year in anticipation
of more workshops than ever before, and we were not disappointed.
Special thanks goes to Dr. Jim Cain, who offered a number of sessions
himself, and then teamed up with others to moderate some very effective
discussions.
As a result we had a terrific mix of professional
polished presentations, sessions created on the fly in response to
identified needs, and a huge amount of fun in the process.
The following is an overview of some of the sessions
