Feedback from our fourth year at Bark Lake...

“A relaxed yet innovative [forum] to connect with fellow practitioners in the field. The flow of ideas is inspirational and I now have a renewed capacity to incorporate experience-based activities in my program.”
- Andrea Onchulenko, Cadets Canada
“Huge benefit and great contacts - Always look forward to it.”
– Joey Greene, SmartyPants Theater Co., Dayton, Ohio

What did you gain from your conference experience?
“An opportunity to spend a few days with my EE peers was great. It was a great opportunity to share thoughts, ideas and business challenges. I appreciated the Thursday. Having been in the industry for years it is harder to find sessions tailored for my needs - I found that extra day to be very valuable. And of course spending 3 days with good people who have a passion for their work is always very motivating.”
– Kate Cassidy, Community Adventure Training Initiatives
“New contacts. New Ideas. Resources. Personal development. I feel refreshed and more confident!!”
– Shannon Butters, Carleton University
“A chance to breathe and reflect - Re-charge. Some great networking.”
– Tim Arnold, The Frontier Group
“1. Validation of our approach to infuse EE concepts into our cadet training program.
2. Ideas for further enhancements. 3. MET A LOT OF GREAT PEOPLE!!!”
– Donnie Oulton, Cadets Canada

What did you think of the Enhanced Virtual Space Concept?
“Great idea - saw people come with needs that won't be met through scheduled workshops.”
- Andrew Hiebert, Camp Crossroads
“Really liked it - more concrete & value articulated.” - Belinda Clemmensen, Clemmensen Consulting
“Worked great.” - Mike Caldwell, Corporate Synergy
“Can't wait to use it myself! This will certainly be useful
during staff orientation. LOVED IT!!!”
– Donnie Oulton, Cadets Canada

What would you tell your peers and colleagues?
“Please go to CEEPS. It is a perfect tool for understanding
more about why you do what you do”
– Kevin Parker, Delta Synergy Group
“It was a worthwhile and fun opportunity.”
– Darcy Delaney, Durham District School Board
“Get off your ____ and go!”
– Belinda Clemmensen, Clemmensen Consulting
